    Your passphrase derives a key that wraps a unique key for each file. The document is sealed on your device, then the ciphertext is uploaded.

We only ever hold scrambled data.

Your passphrase, keys and documents never leave your device unencrypted. DocWallet can't read your files, and neither can anyone else.
